Cyclin' season is here...do you feel it yet??

WOW!! It's hard to believe it's time again to ride!! I'm had the privilege of uniting some great people with some great bikes over the past couple of weeks. It feels really good to now the bikes I supply will be ridden and put into service as forms of commuting, exercise, or just riding with the kids or grand kids..
I hope everyone who is considering taking up cycling again and in the market for a bike just to go for it and get it. I only ask that your bike shopping takes you either to me or your local bike shop. I say that because the quality of bike, customer service, & overall experience will be much better at a place where people who ride and love bikes are able to help you with your bike needs other than the mass market "chain" stores(i.e. the @$^-mart's of the world).
Get out there, buy a bike, & RIDE!!

Bicycles & the economy

We continue to hear the bad news..The dow dips another 200 points, 1 of every 10 adults in California is unemployed, the jobless rate continues to rise, the government continues to throw OUR money at the problem and it is NOT working..what is a guy or gal to do??
Now I'm not saying riding a bicycle will solve your financial problems..it won't; but have you ever thought how incorporating a bike into your daily routin might make your life a little easier and possibly better?
Many people are discovering that riding a bike to work or as a short distance commuter to the local store might help a little with saving a few bucks on gas and making you feel better in the process.
Perhaps your looking for something to do that does not require a lot of money to enjoy. How bout loading up the bikes and heading out for a ride...
I live close to a city(Murfreesboro, TN) that has a killer greenway system that is a blast to ride and get this; it costs NOTHING to ride on it!!
I'm also building myself up a sweet GT Timberline Mtn. Bike to go trail riding this spring/summer months..again no money involved to ride in the wilderness
Yes bikes will not solve your financial woes; but it will help the pocket book in a small way and really boost your morale to endure this financial crisis..

Spring is on it's way..are you ready for cycling season??

Well, it's that time of year. The weather is getting a little warmer, the days are a little longer, spring will soon spring and cycling season will be in full swing!!
I can't wait..I'm ready to dust off the ole' Raleigh Hybrid, saddle up my two daughters in their new Outback trailer, hop on and take off to cycling bliss. There is nothing like the feel of spring's first ride..I love it!! I will also be opening up every Saturday at the Higgin's flea market.
I hope everyone will join me in that same sediment. If some of you would like to experience what I'm talking about; but you don't have a bike..stop by and see me. I know I have the right bike for you...
